Canine massage therapy

Giving a massage to a dog is not the same thing as petting them. While massaging, the therapist has an intention and a goal which is usually to achieve a full relaxation of the muscle and that can be translated by specific variations in pressure, direction and speed of the movement.

A session is usually 1h long, including an assessment of the dog’s movement, a 30 to 45 minutes massage and some advice if needed. I perform the massage at your home, directly on the floor or on the dog’s bed or in some case on a table.

Massaging a dog promotes a good blood circulation to all tissues and organs in the body, it increases lymph circulation and promotes well being and healing.
